Spectra - Central Gardens - Bournemouth

Intense coloured rings of neon light create a spectrum of artificial light. A cross-fade animation reverses the order of the colours from top to bottom in a continuous sequence.

Spectra is a 12 metre high free standing light tower surrounded by trees in Central Park Bournemouth

Commissioned by Bournemouth District Council in 2000 as part of the Bournemouth Alight project.
