Pulsar - Great George Street - Rochdale

Pulsar reacts to the beat of the street. When it's quiet the colours change slowly but when the street is buzzing a new colour sequence is triggered every time someone passes by.

RGB LED's and mirror stainless steel create dynamic animated patterns of light in a vertical sculpture for a lively night club area.

A powerful motion sensor triggers brilliant colour changes every time a pedestrian walks by.

Completed in 2003 Pulse was Commissioned by Rochdale Development Agency as part of the regeneration of Great George St.
