Fire in the Heart is inspired by the reflected light on the sea around the Cornish coast and the words of a techno-dance tune 'A bullet in the gun, a fire in the heart, you can move all mountains that stand in your way'. 1000 points of fibre-optic light float above a white background. Colours dance and sparkle in programmed sequences creating a sensual spectacle of moving colour and patterns.

Fire in the Heart was commissioned by the University of Warwick in 2000.
